What To Expect

The Stage, located atop the SMP Shanghai Magnolia Plaza, stands alongside international skyscrapers as a new urban landmark on the global stage. Towering at 320m with 360° panoramic views, it redefines Shanghai's skyline. Inspired by Shakespeare's dramatic monologue "All the World's a Stage," this sightseeing journey transforms into an immersive artistic experience. Ascending The Stage, the spatial flow evolves into a five-act theatrical structure: "Prologue, Ascent, Climax, Descent, and Epilogue." Each act blends textures, color lighting, signature scents, and musical melodies in progressive harmony, creating a multisensory convergence that delivers both unified sensory immersion and dramatically charged artistic expression. The Stage blends the vastness of the skyline with the city's vibrant pulse, embodying Shanghai's urban aesthetic: exploring new heights, immersing in beauty, and transcending through integration.

Terms & Conditions

[Reminder] The admission ticket is valid for single-day, single-time slot, and single-use only. Entry stops 30 minutes before the end of each time slot. Please plan your visit accordingly.
(1) After purchasing tickets, completing redemption, and becoming an SMP Shanghai Magnolia Plaza member, you can register points at the service counter on LG1 level of the mall with the points admission voucher provided by the observation deck to enjoy the points policy and free parking policy of Shanghai Magnolia Plaza.
(2) After purchasing any ticket type, use the mobile number registered during purchase to obtain a 1-hr free storage voucher at the self-service storage area on the LG1 level observation deck.
(3) The Stage Magnolia Observation Deck is a 360° open-air observation deck located 320 meters above ground. For the safety of yourself and others, dangerous behaviors such as extending objects beyond the guardrails, running, leaning against or climbing the glass railings are prohibited. Uncivilized behaviors like occupying observation areas for extended periods during peak hours are also forbidden, and such actions will be held legally accountable. Commercial photography, recording, interviews, and similar activities are not permitted.
(4) For the health and safety of visitors, those with acrophobia, hypertension, epilepsy, heart disease, or other medical conditions should carefully consider before purchasing tickets. Minors under 16 years old must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times to ensure safety.
(5) To ensure customer safety, in case of emergencies, especially force majeure events such as strong winds, rain, snowfall, approaching thunderstorms, hail, photochemical smog, or extreme high temperatures, the service provider may close the observation deck without prior notice.
(7) Prohibited items include: professional cameras, lighting equipment, tripods, loudspeakers, walkie-talkies or similar devices, handbags, backpacks (larger than 20x30 cm), large luggage such as suitcases, camping equipment (tents, folding chairs, ground mats), food or beverages, drones, balloons, kites, and other flying objects. Pets are not allowed (guide dogs, service dogs, and hearing dogs are permitted with relevant ID). Wheelchairs, strollers, bicycles, roller skates, and other means of transportation, lighters, knives, umbrellas, flammable or explosive hazardous materials, and other items that may scatter or fall are also prohibited. Note: Staff and security personnel will inspect your belongings upon entry. Your cooperation is appreciated.
